Budo Ways Inc. strives to acknowledge and assist in promoting highly cultivated and culturally rich/diverse martial arts events in the Great Lakes Region.  

 

One of the most outstanding events in 2025 in this regard was:

Hanshi John Therien’s - “Capital Conquest”..

 

This event promotes excellence in the instruction of all martial arts in the region and recognizes the diversity and scope of instructional practices, and martial arts content knowledge being taught.  Participating in the Capital Conquest fosters the growth of youth as well as adults.  Hanshi Therien has created a culture of mutual respect and harmony amongst all of the participating denominations of martial arts instructors.  This is a great achievement.

 

We see the Capital Conquest as a Must-Attend event in the years ahead.
